Tally on Cloud means your TallyPrime runs on a server in a data centre instead of on one office computer. You and your team open it over the internet, from the office, from home or while travelling, and everyone works on the same company data at the same time.
Nothing changes inside Tally. Your vouchers, ledgers, reports and shortcuts work exactly as before. What changes is where Tally lives and how you reach it.
How it works
- Your Tally is installed on a cloud server. We set up a Windows server with TallyPrime and your company data.
- Each user gets a login. You pay per user, and every user gets their own login.
- You open Tally from any device. Either click Open in browser in your portal, or use the Remote Desktop app with your RDP file.
- The data stays on the server. Nothing is saved on the laptop you use, so a lost or broken laptop does not mean lost books.

What you need
- A valid TallyPrime licence (talk to us if you need help setting it up on the server).
- An internet connection. A normal broadband or 4G connection is enough for data entry.
- A browser, or the free Remote Desktop app on Windows, Mac or phone.
Is my data safe?
On our service each customer has separate logins, the servers sit on a private network, and every connection goes through our secure gateway. Your server's address is never shared. Data is backed up every day.
