This policy explains what personal information Hosting Safari Pvt Ltd collects when you use this website and our Tally on Cloud service, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, mobile number and portal password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Business details: company name, address, and GSTIN. When you enter a GSTIN we check it against public GST records and save the legal name, trade name, registration status and latest return filed.
  • KYC details: when you verify through DigiLocker, we keep your name, date of birth and masked Aadhaar number. We never store your full Aadhaar number.
  • Payment details: order amounts and Razorpay payment references. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay, not by us.
  • Support: messages you send in tickets or on WhatsApp.
  • Technical data: login times, IP addresses and connection logs, kept for security.

Your Tally data

The accounting data you keep in Tally on our servers belongs to you. We act only as its host. We do not open or use it, except to fix a problem you have asked us to fix or where the law requires it.

Why we use it

To create your account and server login, issue GST invoices, complete KYC required by law, give support, keep the service secure, and send service messages such as payment receipts, renewal reminders and ticket replies. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run the service, and only what they need:

  • Razorpay, for payments
  • Our verification provider, for GST checks and DigiLocker KYC
  • Our WhatsApp messaging provider, for service messages
  • Our email and server hosting providers

We may also share information when the law, a court or a government authority requires it.

How long we keep it

Account, invoice and KYC records are kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards for as long as tax and other laws require (usually 8 years for invoices). Tally data is kept for a maximum of 3 days after your service ends or is suspended, and is then permanently deleted. Ask for an export before your service ends if you need a copy. Security logs are kept for up to 180 days.

Security

Server passwords and other secrets are stored encrypted. Our Tally servers sit on a private network and are reached only through our secure gateway. Staff access is limited to people who need it to support you.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, withdraw consent for anything that needs consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept by law even if you ask us to delete them.

Grievance Officer

For any privacy question or complaint, contact our Grievance Officer at Hosting Safari Pvt Ltd, Rohini, Delhi, using the email shown at the bottom of this page. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.
